                  About the Finley Restaurant in Ozark, Missouri

The Finley, located in Historic Downtown Ozark, Missouri, is housed in the former Ozark Christian Church building, which was constructed in 1907, but as a Church its roots date back to 1840, making it the oldest existing church in Christian County.

When the congregation moved to a new location in 2005, the building was sold but it remained a venue for celebrations hosting weddings and special events.

In 2017 we purchased the building with the vision of creating an incredibly special restaurant setting for all to enjoy an elegant meal or a special occasion with family and friends. Our singular focus is to provide all who enter our restaurant with an Innovative Approachable Elegant experience!

While our food is always elegant, we want each guest to feel comfortable in the very approachable atmosphere we have created in our restaurant. Likewise we will always strive to present very innovative food ideas and concepts to you so that you can experience food trends from throughout the USA and the World, right here in Ozark, Missouri.

The Finley Restaurant is inspired by the nearby Finley River which was the original settlement of Ozark, Missouri. Eventually Ozark became the Christian County Seat and the downtown developed in the current location, anchored by the Courthouse on the Square with its unique Gazebo and the Ozark School, as well as several Churches.

Local history is rich with stories including the notorious Baldknobbers, three of whom were hanged on the Ozark Square just across the street from our restaurant. Ozark is also home to Mr. Howard Garrison, a local celebrity known for his famous Riverside Inn, his artwork and bootlegging during prohibition. We are honored to have several pieces of his original artwork and prints hanging in our restaurant along with many items from his original Riverside Inn.

We are proud to offer our community with a fine dining experience in a wonderfully comfortable atmosphere steeped in the tradition of early Ozark, featuring a variety of hand-cut steaks, seafood, Innovative salads & sides and luscious desserts.
